The peacock holds its own unique symbolism; a symbol of integrity and the greatness we can achieve when we endeavour to show our true colours. In myth, legend and lore, the peacock represents nobility, guidance, protection and watchfulness.

Our peacock axe features an intricately acid-etched high carbon steel head leading to an Ash haft that has been part-burnt and waxed whilst warm to bring out the grain. It’s finished with hand-wrapped blue leatherwork pinned into place with steel pins.

These axes are traditionally made, forged and individually hand-hammered, followed by hand-etching with age-old acid techniques; each axe head will be slightly unique.
